Lara Leaves is a semi acoustic coverband that mainly performs in The Netherlands on social events like weddings, parties and receptions. Music is our passion and fulltime profession performing at over 100 venues a year. Our acoustic band may be small in size but is high in energy and can deliver a full sound. Vocals, guitar and keys (trio) are accompanied by an electronic kickdrum and hand-percussion which makes our acoustic duo and trio unique, energetic and fit for every vibe!
Our repertoire is based on the best of sixty years pop music. A personal approach is key to us, where we will put your wishes first. We will set the mood with our live music, take on live requests and go along with the vibe that you and your guests want. Our musicality, spontinuity and interaction makes Lara Leaves as an acoustic duo, or trio, the perfect fit for your wedding, party or reception.
We have full control over the volume and sound of our instruments. That's why we use different sizes sound systems by Bose to spread our music across the room, without being to loud. No need to raise your voice and still enough body to make some moves on the dance floor. The perfect band for locations with sound regulations.

Energetic
Coverband Lara Leaves is know for their full sound and energetic performance. Many weddings and parties get more intimate which might ask for a smaller band regarding space, budget or taste. As an acoustic duo we might not take in a lot a space, but our repertoire and sound is big enough to fit every occasion.
Vocals, backings, guitar, kickdrum and hand-percussion gives you a full band experience with full control over our volume. Perfect for both intimate or bigger celebrations to set the mood with our live music. Add some keys to make this acoustic duo a trio for more musical body and some vocal harmony.
Our music goes along with the vibe since we do not work with a pre made setlist. Easy listening during the reception or maybe more beat so you can try your dance moves? Anything goes!
Personal approach
We do not work with a manager or booking agent. When you contact Lara Leaves you will deal with singer Maartje & guitarist Sander straight away. At first we will let you know if we are still available on your special day and then send you an estimate of the costs according to your date and time.
Via videocall, telephonecall, whatsapp and email we will stay in touch untill the big day arrives. This way we can discuss your wishes and personalize our musical performance to the occasion. Our communication can be in Dutch or English. We can read and understand German, but are hesitant of our own German vocabulary. This is why we will reply in English.
We would love to hear your musical taste, the absolute do's and don'ts and special requests. Because of our years of experience we would love to help in any way we can.
We will send an invoice after our performance. No down payment needed.
Let's get practical
Our most booked program is in a 3 hour period. Here we will play either 3 live sets of 45 minutes per set, or for example a wedding ceremony followed by 2 live sets during the reception. This costs € 900,- included technique but excluded travelexpenses and 9% VAT.
We will take care of the entire musical programming for the time we are present (up to a maximum of 4 hours), including the music during our breaks.
To give our best performance there are some practical things we asks for as an acoustic band. Here we have listed the most important requests:
> Let us know your special requests 2 weeks prior. For a wedding ceremony you can choose a maximum of 5 songs, other occasions 3 songs max.
> A performance area of 3 by 3 meters (and a minimal of 2,5 meters high) with a flat surface and protected against the elements (sun, rain, etc.).
> Plug socket (220V) within 10 meters of our performance area.
> Availability of water, beer and soda.
