We’re full-time musicians with a passion for warm, high-quality live music — small in setup, big in sound. With vocals, guitar and keys, supported by electronic kick drum and hand percussion, our acoustic duo and trio deliver an energetic, full sound that fits any moment — from an intimate ceremony to a lively reception.

Pure & Energetic – How Our Acoustic Band Sets The Tone
Lara Leaves is known for its full sound and energetic performance. Many weddings, ceremonies and private parties today have a more intimate setting, which sometimes calls for a smaller band that suits the space, budget or atmosphere.
As an acoustic duo, we may take up little space, but our sound and repertoire are big enough to fill every occasion. With vocals, harmonies, guitar, kick drum and hand percussion, we create the feeling of a full band while keeping full control over our volume. Ideal for both wedding ceremonies and festive evening receptions.
Whether it’s gentle background music during dinner or a lively set to get people dancing, we adjust our vibe to match your moment. Add keys to turn our duo into a trio, bringing even more musical depth and harmony for larger events or company celebrations.
Personal Approach – Direct Contact With Your Acoustic Duo
We don’t work with a manager or booking agency. When you contact Lara Leaves, you’ll speak directly with singer Maartje and guitarist Sander (the duo who will also perform at your wedding or event).
First, we’ll check if we’re available on your special day, then send you an estimate based on your date and time. From there, we’ll stay in touch via video call, phone, WhatsApp or email, keeping communication personal and easy until the big day arrives. This way, we can discuss your wishes and tailor our live music performance to your event.
Communication can be in Dutch or English. We understand German as well, though we prefer replying in English to avoid language mix-ups.
We’d love to hear about your musical taste, your absolute do’s and don’ts, and any special song requests. With our years of experience performing at weddings and private celebrations across the Netherlands, we’re happy to help you shape the perfect soundtrack for your day. Payment is simple: we’ll send the invoice after the performance, no deposit required.
Let's Get Practical – Acoustic Band Details & Requirements
Our most popular package covers a 3-hour performance period, which usually includes three live sets of 45 minutes each, or for example: a wedding ceremony followed by two live sets during the reception.
The price for this program is €950, including sound equipment but excluding travel expenses and 9% VAT.
We take care of all musical programming during the time we’re present (up to a maximum of four hours), including carefully selected background music during our breaks, so there’s never a silent moment.
To deliver our best performance, there are a few practical things we kindly ask for as an acoustic band:
🎵 Please send us your special requests at least two weeks in advance.
🎤 For wedding ceremonies, you can choose up to five songs; for other occasions, one custom song.
📏 A performance area of 3 × 3 meters (minimum 2.5 m high), flat and sheltered from sun or rain.
🔌 A power socket (220V) within 10 meters of our setup.
🥤 Access to water, soft drinks and beer during our stay.
